The most dangerous scenes in world cinema were filmed

The dark knight Film – Stuntman dies

So many things went wrong during the filming of the dark knight. that people started referring to the curse of batman. perhaps the most tragic thing to go wrong was the death of a special effects technician who was killed while shooting a stun. Conway Wickliffe originally from New Zealand was riding in the back of a car when it crashed into a tree at 20 miles an hour.

He had been leaning out of the window operating a camera when another special effects technician driving the car failed to make a turn and hit a tree. he suffered severe injuries and died at the scene. Conway was an incredibly talented stunt technician. throughout his impressive career, he had worked on many films like batman begins, die another day, children of men, and casino royale.

And unfortunately, the tragedies didn’t end there. shortly after filming heath ledger who played the joker died of an accidental drug overdose. the day before the UK premiere of the film Christian Bale who starred as batman was accused of assault against his mother and sister. co-star Morgan Freeman also ended up in a severe car accident.

Now you see me Film – Water tank drama

Any scenes involving water make me nervous. you’re trying to create drama for the camera but there can sometimes be little room for error before things go wrong.

And that’s kind of what happened on the set of now you see me. actress Isla Fisher played an escapologist in the film and the movie starts with her trying to free herself from shackles within a submerged tank of water.

In the film, she was supposed to act like she was in distress by banging on the glass but she actually got into distress for real. Isla revealed that her chains became tangled and she wasn’t able to reach a safety button to drain water from the tank. a safety diver with a can of oxygen was also too far away.

Things could have gone south very quickly for Isla but she was able to remain level-headed. all she kept thinking was that she didn’t want to go out in a swimming costume. and that may have been the motivation she needed. Isla managed to untangle her chains and get free. wow, things could have gone a lot worse that day.

Titanic Film – Injuries and near-Death experiences

The real sinking of the titanic would have been terrifying for all those on board. but what you may not have realized was that the filming of the movie was also quite terrifying for some of the cast and crew. so many things went wrong and people could have actually died. 

Still, what a cracker of a movie can’t deny that. during the famous sinking scene, you’ll recall people clambering about getting hit by parts of the ship and basically just lots of chaos. people didn’t come out unscathed from this scene.

There was a wide range of injuries like broken bones and even ruptured organs. Kate Winslet who played rose came down with pneumonia as she filmed water scenes without a wetsuit under her dress. then she almost drowned in the scene when she and Jack were running around the sinking ship and she gets her coat snagged on a gate. it pulled her under the water and she nearly died.

The crew wasn’t exempt from all the chaos and carnage either. on the last night of the film’s shooting, some pranksters spiked their food with PCP which is a hallucinogenic drug. about 80 casts and crew ended up in the hospital so it wasn’t a great end to the shoot but how incredible was that movie though.
