The 2022 FIFA World Cup started on 11/20 with the match between Qatar and Ecuador. The opening ceremony of the Football World Cup was planned to begin with a grand opening.
Although it was planned to be held on November 21, the organizers had to change the schedule once again, so it had to start on November 20.
The opening ceremony was held at Al Bait Stadium, 40 kilometers north of Doha. The stadium is said to have a capacity of around 60,000 spectators.
The stadium is modeled after the tents used by tourists in the Gulf region. It is located quite far from Doha and is considered to be one of the largest stadiums prepared for the World Cup.
