Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan has been arrested at the Mumbai airport for illegally bringing some watches worth 18 lakh Indian rupees.
Shahrukh Khan, who attended an event in Sharjah, Dubai, was found with these expensive watches in his luggage after arriving at the Mumbai International Airport by private jet. He was detained by the immigration officials at the airport and released after collecting a fine of 6 lakh 83 thousand Indian rupees.
The Indian media reported that several other people, including the security officer who accompanied Shah Rukh Khan, were detained and interrogated for several hours at the airport.
Shah Rukh Khan has also received an honorary award for his contribution to cinema and culture.
