Football fans around the world are talking about the behaviour of Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo who appeared before the media before facing his first match in the Euro 2020 football tournament.
Ronaldo sat in his seat and saw two bottles of Coca-Cola on the table, which he set aside. He then picked up a nearby water bottle and pronounced it Agwa (water) in Portuguese. He pointed out that water is a more refreshing drink than Coca-Cola.
Somehow, for this reason, Coca-Cola’s share price plummeted. As a result, Coca-Cola incurred a loss of about $5.2 billion.
Some people say that Ronaldo did a very exemplary act.
In a world where everything is marketed for money, many have commented that he made the right decision for the good of the people.
Many people say that this incident was due to an old problem that Ronaldo had with Coca-Cola.
The best example of this is the fact that Ronaldo appeared on Coca-Cola ads a long time ago. In 2006, he appeared for Coca-Cola’s ads.
But at the moment he has been at loggerheads with Coca-Cola.
“He has said he does not offer to sell things that are harmful to people.”
Ronaldo is a person who does not use artificial foods and many people say that his opinion is correct.
