The four civilian astronauts who orbited the Dragon capsule with the help of the American ‘Space X‘ Falcon rocket are fine and their three-day space flight is scheduled to end on 19/09, American media reported. On 19/09/2021 they will return to Earth.
SpaceX is a company owned by American billionaire Elon Musk. ‘Space X’ is considered to be the pioneer in designing spacecraft for space travel. SpaceX has signed an agreement with NASA to transport NASA astronauts to the space station with the help of the Falcon rocket and the Dragon space capsule.
SpaceX launched its maiden civilian spacecraft on 15/09/2021, pointing out that any wealthy person can go into space.
The Falcon rocket and the Dragon capsule were launched into orbit by the four civilian astronauts from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The journey is being led by NASA. This is the first time NASA has been involved in a civilian spaceflight.
SpaceX has named the inaugural civilian spacecraft ‘Inspiration4‘. After taking off, the Dragon capsule separated from the rocket and entered high Earth orbit with the four civilian astronauts. From 15 to 19 they orbit the Earth in an 8 meter high by 4 meters wide Dragon space capsule. With the help of a parachute, the capsule returns to Earth.
Jared Isaacman, 38, negotiated with Elon Musk to plan the SpaceX inaugural civilian spaceflight. Isaacman is also a millionaire. He and three others are linked to Operation Inspiration 4. Isaacman also bears all the costs of the operation. It has not yet been revealed how much Isaacman paid to Spa Space X.
